Bonus Fact: He’s from Park City, Utah. He’s 20 years old.

3) His debut EP is called Brand New Boy. It chronicles Wyatt’s high school experiences. But, the extended play also tackles his unintentional “gap year.” He describes the meaning behind all his songs on his website, which you can check out here

4) Wyatt told Park Record that he approached his audition like he was performing at any number of local events he’s done over the years. He brought his suitcase as a prop. He collects tips in it when busking.

5) He sang an original song for his Idol audition. It’s called “Best for You.” Apparently Wyatt wrote the song for his sister, who has mental health issues.
