She shot her 4 month old baby girl before turning the gun on herself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1.<\/strong> Dr. Krystal Cascetta, 40, was a Hematology-Oncology specialist with Mount Sinai\u00a0in Queens, New York.  Her co-worker called her &#8220;whip smart.&#8221;  Krystal was an Assistant Professor of Medicine since July 2015 as well as the Site Chief at the Mount Sinai Queens Infusion Center in New York City since 2021. The couple married in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, New York in a gorgeous ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3.<\/strong> She may have worked in Queens, New York but she and her family lived in Westchester County, New York specifically in Somers, New York.  They have a $1 million home in the wealthy suburb of NYC.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>4.<\/strong> Her husband, Tim, runs the energy bar company The Talty Bar. to the point that they didn&#8217;t know Krystal had even been pregnant. They said, \u201cThey\u2019re very nice people, very pleasant, and they moved in about two years ago, and I\u2019ve seen them maybe twice since then,\u201d he said of Dr. Cascetta and her husband.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>8.<\/strong> Krystal&#8217;s colleagues took to Reddit to describe what Krystal was like. A woman named Kate said, &#8220;She was a fellow at sinai when I was a resident and was an amazing teacher and such a compassionate person.
