Dr. Krystal Cascetta<\/strong>, a renowned cancer doctor from Mount Sinai tragically died in a murder-suicide this weekend in Westchester. She shot her 4 month old baby girl before turning the gun on herself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 1.<\/strong> Dr. Krystal Cascetta, 40, was a Hematology-Oncology specialist with Mount Sinai\u00a0in Queens, New York. Her co-worker called her “whip smart.” Krystal was an Assistant Professor of Medicine since July 2015 as well as the Site Chief at the Mount Sinai Queens Infusion Center in New York City since 2021. She earned her Bachelor\u2019s of Science degree at St. John\u2019s University, graduating Magna Cum Laude.\u00a0 She then attended Albany Medical College where she earned her MD in 2009.\u00a0 Cascetta also received her Master\u2019s Degree from Cornell University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
