Melissa Bartow<\/strong> brought her date spread on called Wanna Date to Shark Tank season 11 episode 12.<\/strong>\u00a0 When she got a job at a health food shop, she was astounded at how unhealthy her a\u00e7a\u00ed bowl.\u00a0 This is where her idea for a date spread began.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Did Wanna Date Get a Deal?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Melissa was asking for $100,000 for 20% of her company.  When she was asked about her sales thus far, she replied that she\u2019s made $31,000 in the past ten months.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

All of the sharks go out one by one.  Before Barbara Corcoran goes out, she throws shade at Melissa for being supported by her father who pays rent for her.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mark Cuban was the only shark left and believed in Melissa.  He offered her a deal of $100,000 for 33%.  Melissa wanted to counter his offer but she decided against it and accepted Mark\u2019s offer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where is Wanna Date in 2022?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The criticism on Shark Tank did not stop this young entrepreneur.\u00a0 After her episode aired on ABC, it was quite visible that Wanna Date got a bigger presence on Amazon. \u00a0They also have a robust official website<\/a> where you can find out information about their products and buy them. You can also learn new recipes on the site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The deal finally closed with Mark Cuban in August 2020.\u00a0 They expanded on the products they offer including date dough. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
