It’s time for a Fat Shack update. The Fat Shack started in 2010 as Tom Armenti was just graduating college. He saw a need for late night food options, particularly when so many local restaurants closed beyond the college student’s typical eating schedule . With $5,000 he got creative and worked it out with a local bagel shop that he could use their location to offer his own line of foods while they were closed, particularly the overnight hours. It became popular and eventually he brought it to Colorado and then of course he and partner, Kevin Gabauer went on the coveted show, Shark Tank.

They walked into Shark Tank requesting $250,000 for 7.5% of their Fat Shack business.
