BeardBrand Update: What Happened with Shark Tank?

1) Eric Bandholz founded the brand in 2012. He pitched his “urban beardsman” idea to the sharks, asking for $400,000 For 15%. Aside from pitching his beard care products, he also wanted to promote the way he grew from an online community to a fully fledged business. Eric did not get a deal with any of the panelists though.

2) He had nothing but good things to say regarding his experience on Shark Tank. Eric wrote on his website: “The Sharks themselves are very fun-loving, energetic, and passionate people. For them to invest in so many budding businesses is a gift to society and I am lucky to have spent a portion of my life interacting with them. Robert, Lori, Kevin, Daymond, and Mark – thank you!” One of his goals still remains to change the way beardsmen are thought of in society – for them to not be stereotyped.
