Mavens Creamery is a macaron ice cream sandwich company. Founders Gwen and Christine Nguyen appeared on Shark Tank<\/a><\/em> in season 10 to pitch their product. They got a super-sweet deal with a shark, and have been in business ever since. They are of Vietnamese descent; neither have specialized culinary or confectionary training. The sisters actually got inspired from the internet, and hours of searching dessert ideas.
