1) He’s 42 years old and was born in Colorado. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2) He met future bandmate Ryan Tedder in high school. They formed their own band called The Beautiful Mess. But, when college came, they parted ways. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

3) In 2002, Ryan called Zach up and asked if he still wanted to put together a band. From there, OneRepublic was formed. Zach went from doing modeling in Chicago to moving to LA for the pop group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
