Dogs are “man’s best friend.” In Ryan Kelly’s opinion, that statement couldn’t be truer. So, he set out to create a line of tasty treats for dogs. At the time, his business venture, Ry’s Ruffery, appeared on Shark Tank<\/a><\/em> in season 5. It was later renamed to Ryan’s Barkery<\/strong>, and in 2018, were in pet stores all over the country. So, where are they now? Find out below. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ryan’s Barkery: a Shark Tank<\/em> Update<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

1)<\/strong> Ryan Kelly was only 10 years old at the time of his Shark Tank<\/em> pitch. Ryan and his mom, Daniella, appeared on the episode. They asked for $25,000 for 25%, which is precisely what they got. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2)<\/strong> The shark they made a deal with was Barbara Corcoran. According to CNBC<\/a>, the deal almost didn’t happen because of Daniella’s health. She had a stroke, which almost prevented her from pursuing the show. Luckily, they were able to appear and snag a deal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

3)<\/strong> In the few years following Shark Tank<\/em>, the Kelly’s went from using their kitchen to whip up the treats, to needing a co-packer. They went from selling them at local events to stores like PetSmart and Wegman’s. As of 2018, they were sold exclusively online. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
