I used this for the first time last night about an hour before bed. I have been waiting to use these because my normal skincare routine includes some of the ingredients they say to avoid. I stopped using them long enough to be able to use these wax strips. I used two full strips on my upper lip because they just would NOT take the hair off. I was still left with about 1/4 of the hair that I had to tweeze to get rid of. I used the soothing lotion immediately after and nothing else. I went to bed and woke up with two giant swollen lines on my upper lip. So now I don’t have the upper lip hair, which is good I guess, but I’m left with what looks like a red sharpie mustache drawn on my lip. Not a good look.

I’ve used this twice and maybe I haven’t mastered the product yet, but this doesn’t seem to get as much hair as I’d want it to. It probably rips out 60% of my upper lip hair and then I’ll pluck the rest. I really like the soothing after-wax cream they include. It’s the only one I’ve used that actually soothes and doesn’t lead to little bumps I always get after waxing or even shaving. I’ve done once a week the last two weeks after a hot shower and I’ll continue doing so until I’m out. I really like the packaging, which is irrelevant I suppose. It’s a small tin with a slide out lid that would easily fit in a pocket or purse. I would recommend this to a teen just getting into hair removal because it is easy to use and mess-free.

What is the No-Mo-Stache Update for Social Media?
