Get to Know Brianna Collichio<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

1) Brianna Collichio is 15 years old from Spencerport, New York. She’s been singing since she was 6. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bonus Fact: At age 7, Brianna began writing her own songs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2) She has cystic fibrosis, which affects her lungs. But, she hasn’t let that stop her from pursuing her dreams! In fact, Brianna’s put it to work in her songs. She sings about staying strong when things are tough, and finding light within the dark. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bonus Fact: The songs that reference those lessons are “Never Let Me Down” and “Glow in the Dark.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

3) She gained national attention when former NFL quarterback Boomer Esiason awarded her courage at his foundation’s banquet. It was also the first time Brianna performed her first single, “On My Hands.”<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

4) Age has never been a factor in her journey, but it does make her skills all the more impressive. For example, at age 10, she was invited to sing the National Anthem at an NFL game.
