Update on 4\/12\/21:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beane was not voted in by America. He sang “Grow As We Go” by Ben Platt and was placed in the “Danger Zone.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beane was the second vote from the judges to be saved. He made it to the Top 12 of American Idol!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The judges were visibly enjoying themselves throughout the performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Katy and Luke both gave Beane a standing ovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He stood in front of Lionel Richie for his judgment. Beane said, \u201cI sang the song from my soul and from my heart.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lionel said, \u201cMr. Beane, I only have one thing to say to you, it\u2019s going to be a beautiful day in the neighborhood, you\u2019re going on to the top 24.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
