Tejas and his family are from Henrico County, Virginia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5.  He is multi-lingual. That was when Tejas was in 8th grade and wrapped up a spelling career which captivated a Richmond region according to <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.richmond.com\/discover-richmond\/2017-rtd-person-of-the-year-honoree-tejas-muthusamy-star-speller\/article_4a0261de-89e8-50e1-80a8-4a48da5d5d05.html\" target=\"_blank\">Richmond.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>7.
