His older sister has been a mainstay in the national spelling bees and he is following in her footsteps.  Shourav is featured in the new Netflix documentary, &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/therealitytv.com\/tag\/spelling-the-dream\">Spelling the Dream<\/a>.&#8221; So who is Shourav Dasari?  Find out below!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1.  Shourav&#8217;s sister Shobha is also a spelling master.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2.  He says he tries to copy his sister with her calm demeanor up at the podium during spelling bees, so it can remove outside distractions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Shourav and his family live in Spring, Texas like his fellow contestant, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.therealitytv.com\/akash-vukoti-spelling-the-dream\/\">Akash Vukoti<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5. His favorite sport is tennis and he has been playing the sport since 2nd grade!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>7.  The person he would most like to meet is James Harden who plays for the Houston Rockets basketball team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>8.
