The window escape ladder device has made headlines within their Norfolk, Virginia community, but now they’re taking it nationwide as they will pitch their idea on ABC’s Shark Tank<\/a><\/em>. Keep reading below for 5 facts about their genius product. <\/p>\n\n\n\n 1) Rescue Ready is a window escape ladder that was designed by two first responders, Eric Hartsfield and Brett Russell. Eric has been a fireman for 10 years, and Brett has been a firefighter\/paramedic for 13. <\/p>\n\n\n\n 2) What makes their ladder different is that it can hold up to 750 pounds, is reusable, easily accessible and kid-friendly, as well as it’s length is 2 stories long, which means you don’t have to jump down the last few feet from the side of your house. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
