Wondry has the slogan, “Be Bold. Sip Different.” They are a new kind of wine company which is taking the industry by storm and turning it around from what it is traditionally known for. What is Wondry from Shark Tank?
According to their website, Wondry is “a fruit-infused wine & sangria collection with heightened alcohol content. our fruit-forward, semi-sweet wines infuse organic berry, citrus & exotic fruit extracts for a succulently smooth & juicy finish.”
They want to reimagine the entire wine experience and include everyone who wants to try wine, not those who are experts in wine, sommeliers, but everyone.

Meet the Gates family
Whitney Gates became interested in wine through her uncle from when she was a young girl at 10. Of course she didn’t have any wine at that time. Her uncle was well known in Nashville, Tennessee for her barbecue and homemade wine. This interest in wine continued to 2020 when she and her husband, Chaz started Wondry.
When asked about the plans for the company, owners Chaz Gates and Whitney Gates said:
“With WONDRY we intend to disrupt traditional wine thinking. From our uniquely designed bottles to our organic fruit infusions to our heightened alcohol content, we exist to re-imagine the wine experience.”
1. Wondry Wines swaps out the usual grapes for organic fruits.
2. Chaz and Whitney are from Dallas, Texas and have a new baby!
3. They have multiple products available on Wondry. The products from the sparkling wine line can be found in Total Wines stores across Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas.
4. One of the popular fall seasonal wines is the cran-apple. “infused with juicy cranberries & apples at 13.9% ABV, this mouthwatering twist on a riesling could just be our best wine yet! we worked so hard to perfect this recipe & are so excited to share it with our winos.”
5. Since appearing on Shark Tank they launched a brand new collection on Wondry. It is called the Shark Tank Collection. You can find the new collection here.
6. Yet another big news piece for Wondry, their cocktail wines can now be found in Target.
