Update: Yes he did! Willie impressed the three judges from American Idol and will move on to Hollywood Week in California. He is excited for Hollywood Week and posted up about his single reminding people to take a listen to his song called “So Gone.”

1) Willie Spence has been posting music on YouTube for a few years now. One of his most popular covers is “Diamonds” by Rihanna. His cover has 25 million views!

2) He’s also released his own music. In fact, Willie released a music video for his song “So Gone” last month.

3) He was born in Florida, but grew up in Georgia.

4) While he’s known to be a shyer person, that goes away when he’s onstage. Willie has a powerful voice, and singing is where he shines!

5) Did we mention he’s got over 515,000 YouTube subscribers? His Instagram is equally as impressive: 354,000 followers. Someone should really verify Willie already!
