1) Ryan appeared on Shark Tank‘s tenth season. His pitch for an environmentally sound pet food alternative was different, in a good way. He originally started it as an idea to reduce the carbon footprint of the pet food industry. Now, it’s become a revolution.

2) The healthier food still packs a protein punch. There are anti-allergy benefits, it’s based from plants, and full of nutritional goodness. Ingredients like oats, yeast, peas, chickpeas, and sweet potato are included in the formula.

3) Going into the tank, Ryan asked for $550,000 for 5%. What he received was the $550,000, but for 10% from Mark Cuban. That put it at a $5.5 million valuation; now, they’ve secured $16.2 million in funding, according to Shark Tank Tales.

4) While it originally began as dog food, they’ve since expanded to include supplements, treats, and yes, even clothes. They also promote a “30 Day Challenge” which challenges pet owners to treat their dogs to Wild Earth, and benefit from “fewer allergies, better digestion and more energy.”

5) The company is verified on Instagram, with over 32,000 followers, including celebrity fans. In addition to the products being sold on their official website, you can purchase them on Amazon.
