Snacklins are a plant-based crisp resembling pork rinds which found its way as a company on to ABC’s Shark Tank. The company, founded by Samy Kobrosly with a self admitted “small team” hopes to land a deal from the sharks. Snacklins is now available in Walmart and on Amazon. They are available for purchase in local markets too on Instacart. In New York, you can find it at Wegmans grocery store. So what has happened to Snacklins since their episode of Shark Tank? Their byline playfully says they are accidentally healthy. They’re not fried. They are a baked plant based chip, made from yuca and mushrooms. This is the perfect choice when you are looking for a healthy and delicious snack. Yuca is a gluten free vegetable from South America. It can look like a potato with its brown outer skin and white color on the inside. Yucca has a lot of amazing properties. It is high in Vitamin C, A & B. It is higher in fiber and potassium than a potato would be. The taste is mild and somewhat nutty.
Did Snacklins get a deal on Shark Tank?
Sam walked into the tank looking for $250,000 for 2.5% of his business valuing it at $12,500,000. While the company at the time of the Shark Tank episode was about 11 months away from profitability, they were expecting to make approximately $2 million that year.
Mark Cuban offered $250,000 for 5% equity with 5% of advisor’s shares. Kobrosly accepted and they had a deal.
Did the deal for Snacklins from Mark Cuban go through?
Yes, the deal closed and Mark became an investor in Snacklins.
Mark even recently made an announcement of “two of his favorite Shark Tank companies, Mushroom Jerky and Snacklins will be in HEB stores in Texas.”

According to their update Shark Tank episode during season 13, the company is doing quite well surpassing 2021’s goal of $10 million and making it to $13 million.
Mashed also states the product can be found in over 2500 stores and counting including Walmart, Amazon and Whole Foods.
