Update on NightCap from Shark Tank

Night Cap originally aired on Shark Tank in March of 2021. This product is a device for preventing people from spiking their drinks. It was built after the co-owner, Shirah Benarde heard of horror stories with drink spiking particularly on college campuses. It’s time for an update on NightCap.

So what happened on Shark Tank on the original air date and where is Night Cap today?

The co-owners walked into the tank seeking $60,000 for 20% of their business. Lori Greiner jumped for it quickly. She offered $60K for 25%.

They accepted the deal from Lori who appears in a YouTube video on the homepage of their website.

The other night I went out to a club, put this cover over my drink like I always do. I was dancing, sipping through the straw, having a great time. As we’re heading through the better-lit lobby I notice a half-crumbled pill on the cover!! Someone obviously tried to drop something in my drink in the dark. I don’t want to think about what could have happened if I didn’t have this little gadget. I’m buying one for all my female friends and sure as hell never going clubbing without it.

I saw on shark tank but when I gave it to my 26 year old daughter & friend, the product was hard to understand. Putting the cap back into band to try to re use the product is a over priced hair tie.

It looks like the NightCap is doing very well and they continue to work with Lori Greiner to grow the business. The product also sells on Amazon UK, Canada, and Germany so they are international as well! In addition, they offer wholesale/bulk orders on the site.
