Umano Clothing Update from Shark Tank

When it comes to pitching a business idea on Shark Tank, most of the time companies will succeed if there is a catch behind it, or a genuine meaning to give back to the community. For two brothers, Alexander and Jonathan Torrey, they were the answer to the sharks prayers when they showcased their clothing brand, Umano, to each of them. Their catch, for every T-shirt sold, Umano company promised a backpack full of art supplies delivered to a child. These tools could then be used in drawing sessions with members of the Umano team. Upon accepting a partner deal with Lori Greiner and Mark Cuban for $150,000 for twenty percent stake in the company, the brand had at that point blown up. With many remarks to how millennials react to philanthropy-based brands that have a charity base behind the businesses name.

After great success, the brothers had come to the end of the road for the Umano brand, they gave a sad farewell to the brand in March 2017, in hopes of looking and sharing the next venture in their business endeavors. The brothers came with the heartbreaking news with some lessons learned, especially when it comes to focusing on customers and Giving Partners.

Even though the company is no longer active, the brothers are hopeful to bring another adventure with them in the future. To follow them on Instagram, their username is @umanoclothing. You can also follow the brand on Twitter. You can also like the brand on Facebook.
