ToyBox is a brand of 3D printers that was specifically designed for kids (age ranges from 6-9 years) to create their high-quality toys at anytime in the comfort of their homes. Toybox Labs has its Toybox app which provides a catalog that consists of a collection of around 750 toy designs.
On March 10, 2019, ToxBox Labs was officially aired on ABC’s Shark Tank in episode 15 of Season 10. The co-founders of Toybox Labs, Ben Baltes & Jenn Chin came to the tank seeking $150k for 5% equity in their business but after doing some negotiations, both the co-founders walked away with an investment proposal of $150k for 13% equity with 2% advisory shares from Shark Kevin O’Leary.
