That’s exactly the problem Totes Babies wants to solve. The hybrid shopping cart-meets-baby carrier allows for a hassle-free experience. What more could you want? Keep reading below for five facts. We’ve got all the details on this cool new product before it debuts on Shark Tank this week.
1) Totes Babies was invented by Lindsey Fleischhauer and Stanley Valiulis. The daughter-father duo launched in 2018. Lindsey came up with the idea after a shopping outing as a new mom with her then-newborn son, Landon. Lindsey is in Naperville, Illinois, and her father is based in Rockford. Stanley’s name is listed on more than 40 patents, so together, this team is unstoppable.
2) The product is a baby seat carrier for shopping carts. The carrier resembles a hammock, and it lays overtop the shopping cart. Then, you can attach the grips to the cart, and place the seat over the canvas. Once it’s attached, you can continue to fill up your shopping cart like normal.
3) The unique thing about this product is it allows for parents to have a second seat (if needed) for their children. It eliminates the need to grab a second shopping cart solely for your other child to sit in, or to put all the groceries in. The carrier fits most carts, and can hold up to 75 lbs, according to the Chicago Tribune.

5) Since the launch of Totes Babies, they’ve expanded to include phone and table mounts. But, get this: they’ve got more ideas in the works. With 5-star reviews, it’s been a hit so far. Hopefully one of the sharks can take it to the next level.
