American Idol continues its audition process this week. One new contestant who will take the stage is Tom McGovern. We’ve got five facts on the American Idol hopeful below. So, keep reading to learn more about Tom.
1) Tom describes himself as a “funny songwriter.” He sings, writes his own material, and plays guitar.
2) Apparently he also writes jingles. According to his website, if you want him to write something, he will! “You name it, I’ll make it,” is his tagline.
3) He’s a comedic musician. He’s released his own musical comedy I Made It onto Spotify and Apple Music.
4) You might have seen Tom act in the off-Broadway musical sketch The Office: The Musical as Jim Halpert and Andy Bernard.
5) He’s dating actress and performer Talia Suskauer. They both have impressive social media followings, so it’s no wonder they get each other. It’s a balance to maintain a relationship in the industry. They seem very happy with each other!
