American Idol continues its audition process this week. One new contestant that will take the stage is Timmy Skelly. We’ve got five facts about the American Idol hopeful below. So, keep reading to learn more about Timmy.
1) Timmy is a musician. He not only sings but plays guitar.
2) He has professional studio experience. He’s worked as a session musician. A session musician is a freelance musical talent that’s hired to play on recordings.
3) He’s from Illinois. Get this, he grew up in Sandwich, Illinois! Yes, that’s an actual city. He currently lives in Chicago.
4) He studied at St. Louis University, according to his Facebook. He went to high school at St. Francis.
5) He’s played various music festivals. One example is at 2017’s Pointfest, a hard rock outdoor music festival. He performed with the group Sonder Sway. Timmy’s stage presence will serve him well when auditioning in front of the judges!
