Who are The Marilynds from The Voice?

The Marilynds are a sister duo who will be seen on season 22 of NBC’s The Voice. Their names are Kasey and Lindsay Staniszewski. You can hear them during their blind audition as they get up in front of coaches Blake Shelton, John Legend, Gwen Stefani and Camila Cabello. Let’s learn more about them now.

Where are they from?

1. You may wonder where these girls got their stage name. These sisters are not only from Maryland but they both were Miss Maryland in 2010 and 2013.

The Voice Trip Documented

2. The sisters documented their trip out to Los Angeles to hit the stage for The Voice’s blind audition. It looks like they hit the road with one Lindsay’s boyfriend. They all were in Nashville, Tennessee when they took this car selfie. The caption for the photo read, “En route to LA for our Blind Audition. A journey had unfolded, but we didn’t know what lie ahead… Our hearts were bursting with hope, gratitude, excitement, and peace, all at once. Thanks to our chauffeur / body guard / unofficial ‘stage manager’ (Lindsay’s beau) for the early ride to the airport (and the moral support!). 3. These girls are very fashionable. They tagged the fashion brand, Alice and Olivia in their all black ensembles.

Are The Marilynds Twins?

4. They look alike and they speak in unison but they are not twins! Don’t let your eyes deceive you. In an Instagram post the girls acknowledge this. They said, “We get asked all of the time if we’re twins. Maybe it’s the way we randomly talk in sync, or the shared mannerisms that we get from our mom, or the fact that we can telepathically communicate on stage… Truth be told, we take it as a compliment because we are incredibly close.”
