Taryn Papa is a country singer from Nashville, Tennessee who has recently landed herself a spot on Team Blake (as in Blake Shelton) on NBC’s newest season of The Voice. But, who is Taryn Papa? Find out more about the aspiring star with these five fun facts below.
1) Taryn stunned the judges with a rendition of Martina McBride’s song “Anyway” for her audition. Three judges turned their chairs, but country superstar Blake Shelton ended up nabbing Taryn Papa for his team.
2) Though she lives in Tennessee now, Taryn was actually born in Connecticut. She moved to Nashville about 7 years ago to really pursue her country music career.
3) She’s 30 years old, and was named Artist of the Month in March 2020 at Ole Red in Nashville. Get this: that’s Blake Shelton’s bar!
4) She’s opened for quite a few artists including Lonestar, Kid Rock, Thompson Square, and Randy Houser. Her dream collaboration or duet would be with Randy Houser too.
5) She has her own YouTube channel, where, in addition to posting her covers and original music, she vlogs a bit about her life — including her Voice journey! You can check out a video below:
