]]> Leaira Marie Houghton was majorly surprised when she went to American Idol auditions with her boyfriend, Jordan Jones. She was there to support him and then they called her into the audition room, Jordan got down on one knee, and in front of the celebrity judges proposed to Leaira! She said yes!

1. Leaira Marie is a self-proclaimed foodie!

2. Leaira is originally from Houston, Texas but moved to Florida and is now with her husband, Jordan.

3. Leaira and her husband Jordan have a son named Carter. He was born on May 17, 2013. Here’s what Jordan said about his son: “My son. There aren’t words that have been created they properly express the love I have within my heart for you. Today marks 6 years of you being in the world. 5/17/13 will forever be the highlight of my life. I am so proud of the young man that you are becoming. I love you so much, my precious son. Happy birthday to you.”

4. Leaira often switches between blonde and brunette hair. Here she is rocking her blonde hair.
