Yes, it would get very confusing very quickly for Nilsa, her new boyfriend Gus, and Gus Smyrnios, if there wasn’t some way to differentiate between them. Therefore, Nilsa’s boyfriend is okay with being referred to as “Gus 2.0” – which is a nod to an “upgrade” from Floribama Shore cast mate Gus Smyrnios. Considering the fact that Nilsa and Gus Smyrnios were dubbed “Gilsa” on Floribama Shore, “Gilsa 2.0” is obviously Nilsa and her current beau. Got it? And don’t worry, the original gus has moved on with a new girl named Athena.

Gus has left some super-sweet comments on Nilsa’s social media, especially on her IG posts. When Nilsa revealed her troubles in 2019 with her career and personal endeavors, Gus commented his support of her, saying how positive she continued to be in spite of everything. Aw, how nice!

The couple made their Instagram debut on November 30, 2019, when Nilsa posted a cute shot of them together, writing: “No ones ever gunna love you more than, God, your mama, and me.” Looks like those two are headed towards their happy ever after!
