Squid Socks from Shark Tank: Update

Squid Socks are the creative clothing product pitched during season 11 of Shark Tank. The socks were designed specifically for babies and kids. Below, find out if a deal was made, and where the company is now.

Squid Socks Update

1) The name “squid” is what founders Gabe and Jessica Miller call their kids, so that’s how the name came to be for their company. The couple pitched their socks that won’t fall off in season 11 of Shark Tank.

2) See, the socks have little suctions that hold them in place. These “squiddy dots” are located on the inside cuffs. Toddler sizes have grips along the bottom of the socks to prevent slips/falls. The socks come in all colors and styles, for girls, boys, and gender neutral options.

3) Jessica’s background in advertising and Gabe’s in product design made them perfect business partners. When their baby’s socks kept falling off, the newlyweds came up with the idea for squid socks. Now, they have a fully-fledged business. They snagged a deal with Daymond John for $125,000 for 33%.

4) You can shop the socks online, in Nordstrom stores, or on Amazon.com. 10% of their profits go to conservation organizations like the Coral Reef Alliance. But, that’s not all – the company’s been featured in news outlets like ABC and PopSugar too.

Squid Socks Reviews

Squid socks have already attracted tons of happy customers. Here are a few things people have to say about their purchase!

[5 Star Rating] “Don’t even bother with other socks until they’re toddlers. These are life savers and you will never lose them unless your washing machine and dryer make them disappear, but it won’t be from your little one! “

[5 Star Rating] “They fit really well, they don’t slouch or fall down, and they breathe well while still keeping her feet warm enough.”

[5 Star Rating] “Stayed on ALL day at daycare!!! The daycare provider said they were hands down the best socks she had seen!”
