Entrepreneurial duo Shannon Valko and Sarah McDermott are in a slimy business. Actually it’s true, their business is called “Seriously Slime.” Their main goal was to allow their young children and children around America to create slime without the mess. They were seeking $90K for a 15% equity on Shark Tank. Learn all about the company below.
1. Seriously Slime’s website sells DIY slime kits and other products related to slime.
2. They also offer birthday parties, complete with, slime of course!!
3. They even opened a store in Northbrook Court in Illinois.
4. Children love the DIY kits. Here’s one where a DIY kit was shipped off to a lucky young girl. “We delivered a DIY slime kit to a birthday girl today. We will be selling a limited number of them this week for delivery. We will be posting a link to purchase later tonight!”
The company has about 227 followers on Instagram, nearly 600 followers on Facebook, and only just recently started a YouTube channel. They stay pretty updated on social media, however there is a question around how sustainable this company is based on a trend that may disappear as quickly as it came about. We shall see how they do on Shark Tank!
