There were many questions surrounding whether or not he would return to the next season of Shark Tank. He was actually seen saying he might “pull back from other projects like Shark Tank.” When people reacted surprisingly Cuban said, “Part of me wants to quit,” Cuban said to Forbes. “They’ll survive fine without me.”

Cuban has been putting his time into other projects one of which includes a new “Cost Plus Drugs” company which would be a discount pharmacy where they would directly negotiate with drug manufacturers. This is something that has not been done before.

So you’re probably curious what happened. It looks like Cuban’s projects are moving along nicely where he doesn’t need to pull back. The official photo shows him as the group of Sharks for Shark Tank season 15.

You can see Mark Cuban standing in between Kevin O’Leary and Barbara Corcoran in a blue buttoned down shirt and black pants. It looks like Barbara and Lori are front and center. Will the lady sharks have a more prominent role?

1. Tate Koenig is from Aurora, Oregon. He recently purchased a farm and lives on it with his girlfriend and baby girl. There, he created the pizza pack.

2. He walked into the shark tank in front of the 6 investors on the live show in hopes of getting a deal. Two of them offered him a deal. Lori Greiner and Kevin O’Leary were the sharks interested.

3. Tate went into the tank requesting $100k for 10% of his company. Kevin offered him exactly that plus a royalty deal as only Kevin can. Lori was the next shark and she offered $100k for 20%. However, after negotiations, she brought it down to $100k for 13%. Tate agreed, calling Lori his dream shark.

They are in fashion in regards to clothing weight.

They are from Potomac, Maryland. Dr. Sina Farzin and his wife, Nina ask for $400k for 5% for their baby product, Oogie Bear (buy it on Amazon.)

Barbara wanted to know why Nina left her job. She said she had too many ideas and was challenged by her husband to try it.

They have sold 1 million units to date since 2015. Total revenue in sales is $15 million. Profit track to make $1 million in 2022. Revenue track is to make $5.4 million.

Kevin O’Leary offers $400k for 10%

Lori Greiner wants to know if there is competition. Nina said there wasn’t anything on the market, but they have a patent on their product.

Daymond John said he’s impressed. He says its not in his area of expertise so he’s out.

Mark Cuban wants to know how much they do on Amazon. She says 76% and she wants to diverse their online presence.

Our comments on company #3 – Pizza Pack – Here for the Dough

Here for the Dough, Pizza Pack is run by an entrepreneur who had been in Shark Tank previously with his Cheese Chopper. He’s back with his pizza keeper product which is patent pending.

Robert said, “this is a one product company, I’m out.”

Kevin O’Leary offers $100K for 10% and includes a royalty of $2 per unit until he gets the $100K back then $0.50 per unit into perpetuity.

Mark Cuban wanted to know why he isn’t selling more. They said it’s because of inventory.

Lori Greiner offers $100K for 20%.

Mark Cuban said he hates investing in companies run by inventors but he loves to buy companies by inventors. He asks the owner, Tate to come back to him with a figure for full purchase of the company after the commercial break.

Tate says, $5 million. The sharks laugh. Mark Cuban says that was insane. He says he likes the product.

Lori Greiner said she wants to changer her offer. Then Daymond John said, $100K for 25%.

Lori says, “I can tell instantly whether something is a hero or a zero, this is a hero.” Offers $100K for 15%. Daymond John said he will go to 20%.

Tate asks Lori for 12.5% then she goes, 13% and you have a deal.

Tate wants to know if he can hear from Mark Cuban.

Mark Cuban said he will buy the company for $1.5 million and he will write the check.

The crowd is shouting for Lori. He chooses Lori Greiner.

“He’s ok, he doesn’t do a lot of deals. Kevin is different from how he seems on TV. That’s his shtick (when asked about his long drawn out deals). He’s a good guy.”

The interviewer seemed pretty intrigued by Mark’s answers and Mark kept going.
