Drew Zirkle went on ABC’s Shark Tank to present Safety Nailer, his product to make the everyday activity of hammering nails safer. To get the scoop on what happened with his device, keep reading below for a few fast facts on Safety Nailer.
1. Drew invented Safety Nailer to prevent the annoying occurrence of accidentally hitting your fingers on a hammer or other tool. The product allows for your hand to be protected, while still being able to continue building.
2. Not only did Drew get Mark Cuban to sign on as an investor, but he also got Rohan Oza and Lori Greiner onboard. The three sharks gave Drew the 100K he asked for, for 1/3 of the company.
3. Aside from his Safety Nailer product, Drew expanded to include a pencil sharpener/holder, and a Newton’s spindler, also known as the “Cuban clacker.” The latter is a magnetic repelling toy that teaches the basics of physics.
