1) The See/Rescue Streamer is a safety device that allows you to “light up” to show your location, if you ever get stranded. It uses patented emergency search technology that can be seen day or night, which helps you to be found sooner, therefore lessening the dangers you could face.

2) Dr. Robert Yonover is a Ph.D geochemist and volcanologist, which yes, means he studies volcanoes. He’s done deep dives off the Galapagos Islands, not to mention worked with NASA and MIT, according to his bio on the official website. Sounds like he’s more than qualified to have invented something so helpful and tactical.

3) Surprisingly enough, See/Rescue Streamer does not have an Instagram page, but, they do have a Twitter and Facebook. They do not have a massive following on either platform; given the major impact their product is having though, they may not need it.
