Pulp Pantry from Shark Tank – 5 Fun Facts

There are some people out there who still can’t eat vegetables, it just doesn’t sit well with them.  Then there are others who can’t get enough of the stuff.  Well let’s introduce you to the Pulp Pantry.  Pulp chips are real vegetables in chip format made with sustainable ingredients.  The package says it is made with organic up cycled veggies.  So what is Pulp Pantry from Shark Tank all about?  Let’s find out now.

1.  The company was founded by Kaitlin Mogentale whose inner food waster warrior could not allow food to go to waste when she observed how much pulp was left from the carrots her friend was juicing.  This lead to Pulp Pantry which “works with large manufacturers to turn overlooked resources like fresh-pressed vegetables into wholesome pantry staples.” (pulppantry.com)

2.  They have a number of different flavor options including Jalapeño lime, salt ’n’ vinegar, sea salt, Shark Tank Variety Pack, spicy barbecue, and another variety pack.  

3.  Looks like the products are already pretty popular!!  The site says they have sold out 4x this year and if you want the newest, freshest batch, time to buy now.  

4.  You can combine the Pulp Chips with vegetable spreads really nicely.  Here you see the chips next to cherry tomatoes, peppers, zucchini and even some fruits, strawberries, blueberries, and more.

5.  This company is really moving, they even partnered with clothing brand, Urban Outfitters.  In this partnership, their snacks will be placed in select stores and on the Urban Outfitters website.
