5 Facts on Moment from Shark Tank

Yoga, deep breathing, meditation, you name it: finding a way to chill out has never been more popular. But, what if there was an easy and fun way to be more zen? That’s what the Moment beverage is designed for. Their motto is “drink your meditation,” so if you’re curious about what the product is, keep reading below.

1) Moment was founded by Faheem Kajee and Aisha Chottani, a husband and wife team with numerous years of business experience. Faheem founded start-ups with Google, and worked for some of the top venture capitalist firms. Aisha attended Harvard Business School and is an expert in logistics.

2) Alpha brainwaves are what’s released when you’re relaxed, and Moment aims to increase these to achieve maximum calm. It uses L-theanine (found in green tea), ashwagandha (root), and tulsi (herb) to fight stress and improve mental clarity.

3) There are 3 flavors of Moment: hibiscus dragon fruit, rooibos blood orange, and tulsi lemon. You can also purchase a “variety pack” which includes all 3 on their website.

4) There’s no caffeine in the product, so there’s no crash and burn feeling. In fact, you should feel refreshed and renewed after drinking your beverage.

5) Since they only launched in the summer of 2020, Faheem and Aisha are looking to expand their reach and get the word out. Social media‘s played a key role, but perhaps having a shark onboard could take them to the next level. Retail space? Amazon? Sky’s the limit!
