1) As mentioned above, Michael is from Ohio. He attended Sycamore High School in Cincinnati, Ohio and held varsity letters in sports. He graduated in 2020.

2) It was also in 2020 that Michael revealed he took a big chance and auditioned on NBC’s The Voice. He made it onto Team Nick Jonas during season 18. He filmed his Blind Audition the year before, and said he met so many amazing people through the experience.

3) He’s 1 of 5 kids, so he has 4 other siblings. Michael has 3 brothers and 1 sister. He’s very close with his siblings, penning a National Siblings Day post for them on Instagram. “In celebration of national siblings day: Thank you all for growing up with me, for shaping who I am today, and for being such great examples to me.”

4) Michael is no stranger to performing. He’s done many live venues across Ohio and been out to LA to network and in studios recording his own music. Currently, the 21-year-old has two new singles out. His debut song is called “Honey” and following that is “If We Got Us.”

5) When he does make it home, he always makes sure to enjoy the company of his family, and his favorite feline companion, Jimmy.
