Who Is Michael Ealy from To Tell the Truth?

Michael Ealy will be one of the judges on To Tell the Truth where contestants try to convince the judges they are the true person in question. He is an actor and producer who is trying his hand at detective work on the popular ABC game show. So who is Michael Ealy? Let’s get to know him now.

First his career. According to Wikipedia, “He is known for his roles in Barbershop (2002), 2 Fast 2 Furious (2003), Takers (2010), Think Like a Man (2012), About Last Night (2014), Think Like a Man Too (2014), The Perfect Guy (2015), and The Intruder (2019).”

He is an August baby born August 3, 1973 in Silver Spring, Maryland.

Michael Ealy stayed close to home for his education and chose to go to the University of Maryland.

Is Michael Ealy married?

Yes he is. He married Khatira Rafiqzada in 2012. Together they have two children a daughter born in 2018 and a son name Elijah born in 2016.

Michael has worked on numerous movies including “The Intruder” with Megan Good who he refers to as a blonde bombshell in the photo below.

He is inspiring to young people and gave the commencement speech for the graduating class of 2021 at Dillard University. Michael said, “

I don’t know if I’ll ever come up with the right words to describe the feeling I was given this past weekend. I was given an incredible opportunity to give the commencement speech at @dillarduniversity . I want to thank the entire faculty and staff for the love and support. Meeting you all was special. I wanna thank the graduating class of 2021 and ALL their families for giving me the confidence to push through being nervous. Thank you for giving me so much hope for our future! Seeing the joy in your faces from the moment I arrived to the hugs and pictures after the ceremony reminded me of what truly matters in life. Huge thank you to Dr Kimbrough. (The Hip Hop President!) Our conversations will last me a lifetime and I meant what I said about coming back! #stayready
I was nervous because I’ve never done it before and interestingly enough I wasn’t sure if I could. I gotta admit that having the odds against me felt good. You get comfortable in life sometimes. Always playing it safe and just doing what you’re good at or at least what you’re known for. It may have been the first time since I graduated that my degree actually helped (real talk.)

and kids for not only giving the time & space to write my speech but also the incredible welcome home party. I came home with an honorary doctorate and your signs (taped on the front door) and hugs when I came in were the kinda love dreams are made of.”

He is quite close to his family and has a number of photos with his Aunt Hattie who is a role model for him.

Perhaps Michael has some music running through him, looks like he is pretty comfortable with the guitar.

He does a lot of charitable volunteer work including with this organization, Alliance for Moms where you can see him at an event.
