Megan Hoffman is one of 12 contestants who are competing on the weight loss competition show, The Biggest Loser. She’s determined, we know that for sure, but what else can be said about her? We’ve got some facts for you below, so keep reading to learn more about Megan.
1) Megan has a model past. She was a plus-sized model, and insists that she still believes in celebrating her body, not punishing it. She told PEOPLE that she doesn’t need to lose weight to love herself, but she was “tired of modifying” her body in her daily life because of her weight. You can see a snippet of her interview below:
2) Megan Hoffman is 35 years old and is from Simi Valley, California. Her job in the fitness industry is also a strong motivator for her to get in better shape. She works as an operations and retention director at a gym.
3) She wants to get her health back on track so she can avoid dealing with weight-related issues. She wants to “break the cycle and not cut her life short over something completely preventable,” she told USA for her Biggest Loser bio.

5) Megan has a fiery personality, but has used humor to deflect about her weight. She’s done making excuses, and she’s determined to come out of hiding her body, so she can truly live a better lifestyle. She wants to do this for not only herself, but for her friends and family.
