1) As mentioned above, Matt has two brothers. Their names are Dylan and Ryan Strome. All three brothers play ice hockey. Ryan’s 28, Dylan’s 24, and Matt’s the youngest at 22 years old.
2) He and Charlotte Vertes began dating in December 2019. Matt posted a lovely Instagram slideshow for their one year anniversary on December 31, 2020, which you can see below.
3) In March, Matt was assigned to the Greenville Swamp Rabbits. Prior to that, he played a few games with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. He split his rookie season between them and the Reading Royals, according to PhantomsHockey.com.
4) With his impressive sports resume, it’s no wonder he’s verified on Instagram and Twitter. On the former, he has close to 10,000 followers. For the latter, he’s got over 4,000.
5) He’s Canadian. Matt and his brothers were born in Mississauga, Canada. Mississauga is a city in Ontario, and has a lot of shopping spots, plus a skating rink. According to blogTO, it’s ranked one of the most intelligent communities in the world.
