Malachi Love Robinson was also known as “Dr. Love” when he posed as a doctor in West Palm Beach, Florida. After a year of deception, an undercover operation took place to unveil who this teenager really was! “The Con” on ABC will air its documentary on this imposter doctor on September 9, 2022. 1. Malachi was born in May 1997 in West Palm Beach, Florida. He began his doctor con in 2015 when he was only 17 years old, posing as a licensed and practicing medical professional. Malachi worked at St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Florida. He was busted in 2016.
2. He not only conned his way into the hospital, but he also stole. Malachi diverted over $9,000 of payments into his personal checking account. In addition, he used his a client’s checking information to pay over $34,000 in car payments.
3. Love-Robinson was released from prison in September 2019. He only served two years of a three year sentence at a maximum security prison near Fort Myers. His offenses were grand theft and practicing naturopathy without a license.
4. He is now 23 years old. After being released from jail, he began working for a freight company, United States of Freight. He made it into the news again because of stealing over $10,000 from his employer in 2020 by rerouting payments to his personal account.
5. Inside Edition ran an exclusive interview with Malachi from prison. He said he works in the kitchen now in prison. “I was a young kid that got overly ambitious and said enough with rules and regulations,” he told Inside Edition.
