What’s old is new again as Schuyler Ellers has created Lord Von Schmitt, a 1970’s inspired crochet clothing brand. The brand is so quirky and fun that it’s TV worthy – it’ll debut on ABC’s Shark Tank this Friday. Keep reading below for more details on the company, and how it came to be.
1) Schuyler Ellers started the brand to bring vivid colors together with textured fabric like crochet. He’s essentially making crochet cool again, if you will.
2) In his line there are undergarments, shorts, jackets, robes, onesies, and umbrellas. There are even crocheted baby clothes (in more understated pastels).
3) Now get this: Ellers has done over 1,000 sales, and they are all on Etsy! How cool is that? He’s got an Instagram for the company though too, which has over 5,000 followers.
4) All of the designs are done by Ellers himself, and he can even do custom creations!
5) With bright colors, intriguing patterns, and a colorful personality to match, Schuyler’s got some great ideas and tools that will make him successful. There’s proof: his Etsy store is favorited by over 4,000 people, and he’s got a 5-star rating.
