ABC’s newest reality series, The Golden Bachelor has fans buzzing weeks before its September 28 premiere. The spinoff of the famed Bachelor franchise is the first to have an older cast. And yes, that includes the titular “golden bachelor” aka: 71-year-old Gerry Turner. One of the contestants fans will meet on the show is Leslie Fhima. So, just who is the vivacious, spirited woman competing for Turner’s heart? Get to know her below with five fun facts, including age, occupation, and more.
5 Fun Facts about Leslie Fhima
1) Leslie is 64 years old. She is a native of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
2) Fhima is a fitness instructor. While some people see keeping fit as only a hobby, she has turned it into her profession and is very successful at it. She’s also been a personal trainer for almost 20 years.
Bonus fun fact: Did you know that Leslie’s a former aerobics champion and used to be a figure skater? No wonder she’s in such great shape. As if all that weren’t impressive enough, she ran 10 marathons over the years. She also enjoys surfing and paddle boarding.

3) In addition to her above achievements, Leslie founded her own company called PowerBark. This makes her an entrepreneur, and her business is essentially meals-to-go for dogs.
4) Leslie has three siblings. Two brothers named Robbie and Stuart and a sister named Patty.

5) She was married before her stint on reality TV. Leslie is the ex-wife of chef David Fhima. They have three children, and three grandchildren. Her son Elijah currently works at Fhima restaurant group with his father. (Pictured below)
