1. Kim Cruse is a singer/songwriter from Woodville, Texas. Woodville is just slightly northeast of Houston in Tyler County. She has 5.7K subscribers on YouTube and growing. She has a sense of humor about her allergies which Texas can be a bit notorious for.
2. She has her own EP out now appropriately titled, “Kim Cruse.” She released it on her birthday which is February 20th.
3. Which singer would she want to sing with? Kim says “Luther Vandross” because of his silky sound. She loves the duets of the ’80s and ’90s because they had such amazing sounds.
4. How did she pick herself up during the pandemic? She would drive! This helped her come up with melodies, lyrics, sounds then she would come home and write them down.
5. Her favorite song to sing to an audience? She says “Heartbreak Song” by Kim Cruse! She finds them so relatable, plus everyone has shown a ton of love on this particular song. There are clips of people singing this song. She is really excited to sing that song to others.
6. Kim does have a boyfriend, but she doesn’t share much beyond that! So it is a mystery!
7. Does she prefer a group or singing solo? She says she loved being in a group, but she really prefers being solo.
8. Blanche McAllister who is a contra-alto, she loves hearing how Blanche makes songs work for her as Kim can relate to that.

What is her favorite soda?
Sprite! She is trying to get herself off of soda so she has been drinking a lot of cranberry and cranapple juice.
10 Kim is only 5’1, “5’2″ on a good day” so she loves high heels!
