At one time, Kelsey and Juliette from Siesta Key were super tight. They weren’t always that way. When Kelsey first appeared on MTV’s Siesta Key, the girls had growing tensions over Juliette’s then boyfriend, Alex Kompo.
However, fast forward a few seasons and the girls got very close. After they spent time together at an outdoor festival, started double dating friends, and even moved in together – they were BFF’s. When Kelsey and Juliette both had their eye on the same goal – starting a swimwear line, tensions grew again. Hurt feelings and miscommunications caused a rift in their friendship.
Just on the heels of Season 4, Juliette Porter spoke to Access about the changes in their lives. “You see everything that happens between us this season and it gets pretty rough. As much as I want to be a woman that empowers other women, we have our setbacks…” She continued, “It all stems from issues within..you see between her and I, a lot of conflict.”
“We try to work through them but sometimes you have to take a step back from friendships or you never go back to being friends,” the Siesta Key star confessed.
