Time for some real fun! Kawaii Lighting started all because of this question, “why can’t tech be simple and cute?” Yes, it is the truth and the motivation behind the start of Kawaii Lighting in 2020 bringing a whole new generators of content creators cool and fun gear. They are bringing their world of color and lights to the Shark Tank Stage to see if the sharks will fund their newest endeavor. Get to know Kawaii Lighting now.
1. The company was started by Chloe and Lan who are life partners since 2012. Chloe is a first-time entrepreneur but has more experience in the creative sector with a background in dance and creative consulting. Lan is a seasoned entrepreneur who loves tech but has a background in filmmaking and toy manufacturing.
2. Chloe and Lan currently have 12 different products which are a combination of different shaped “ring lights” from hearts to stars and so much more. They even sell a heart shaped USB microphone.
3. Kawaii Lighting is already taking off being noticed by numerous influencers including Jenny M Bui, otherwise known as the Celebrity Nail Artist. She also earned Nail Artist of the year award. She had a blast with this heart ring light, showing off her holiday nails.
4. On their Shark Tank appearance: “We were so excited to announce this on our live earlier!!! Thanks to everyone who tuned in..we would not be here on this journey without the love and support of our customers, our friends, and supporters.”
5. Now one of their newest products is the “Love & Light Overnight Bag by Kawaii Lighting. It is a travel bag for ring lights, but of course made in a cute and fashionable way.
