1. She is from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This happens to also be the home state of The Voice judge, Blake Shelton. Could there be a connection there?
2. Kate is married. Her husband, Matt is from Czech. She has been learning the terms and words they use there. He is also an artist!
3. The Oklahoma based singer grew up singing in the church. She tagged Hope Connection Church in one of her Instagram posts with her husband. “AN AMAZING TIME HAD BY ALL 🎉 Love my church. Love the Hope Team. Love our Hope Staff. Love getting to be a part of this place!!!” she wrote.
4. The trip to Los Angeles was a memorable one for Kate when she auditioned for The Voice. Overwhelmed with the support, she sent a sweet message out to her fans. “WOW! I am completely overwhelmed with gratefulness for everyone’s messages, support, and kindness!! your prayers & encouragement I take with great weight. I have read every comment/post/message and I can’t say anything but a very humble thank you… A wild ride is ahead… 🫶 I would not be here without my firm foundation in Christ… or without you — the wonderful people God put in my life.”
5. Looks like she’s friends with fellow The Voice contestant, Omar Jose Cardona. In a funny video to promote her audition on The Voice, Omar commented. He said, “Ugh I love you!!! 🔥🔥”
