American Idol is back for an all-new season of making dreams come true in season 21. Fans will follow hopeful contestants as they audition for the hit reality singing competition. One contestant fans will see is Kaeyra, also known as Caroline Baran. Learn about the singer below, including her music talent, hometown and more.
1) She is from Chicago, Illinois. As mentioned above, the Chicago-born singer’s name is Caroline Baran, but she goes by Kaeyra on stage and in her professional career nowadays. She released her debut album “Fountains of Gold” in 2017, and her debut EP “11:11” in 2021. Her music is considered to be Pop, R&B and Rock.
2) One of her biggest dreams came true last summer when she performed at Lollapalooza. “I remember saving up all my money to buy a Lollapalooza pass years ago. Im so excited that this time around I get to be on stage performing🥹🥹 You guys can catch me July 31st performing at the #chicagomadeshowcase artist on “The Grove Stage”🤍🤍🤍,” she wrote on Instagram.
3) Now, American Idol wasn’t actually her first time singing on a national competition show. As Caroline, she auditioned for America’s Got Talent season 13. At the time, she was a vocalist with Caroline & The Priority, a singer and bass player of Profusion and performed with guitarist Daniel Jonak.
4) The Polish singer has amassed over 14,000 followers on Instagram. On TikTok, she has close to 168,000 likes and 16,000+ followers. Watch a TikTok to hear her sing now!
5) When she’s not singing, Kaeyra enjoys traveling. Recently, she went to Mexico!
