Julia Roome shocked the world with not only her voice but her age! This small powerhouse is only 13 years old. When The Voice judges turned their chairs around after her blind audition, Julia was contemplating who to choose. She ultimately chose One Direction star, Niall Horan as her coach!
1. Julia Roome chose Niall Horan as her coach for The Voice season 24. Why? She said she was impressed the way he handled the younger talent last season and that was her reason for ultimately picking Niall.
2. She is from the Hudson Valley, New York and proud of it! Julia wrote, “I love growing up in Orange County New York, which is part of the Historic Hudson Valley, and “Childhood” 😊home of recent Grammy Winner BONNIE RAITT”
3. Just like most of the world, Julia is no exception – she loves Taylor Swift and her music. In an Instagram video, she played Lavender Haze by Taylor Swift.
4. She’s serious about her craft – she made sure to tune her guitar prior to her live performance last year.
5. Julia was tapped to sing the National Anthem for a baseball game last season. She wrote, “This is special for me because my father was in the Army my Grandpa was in the Korean War and my Great Grandpa in WWII. I love our country.”
