Julia Daoud is one of the newest cast members on Bravo’s hit reality show, Summer House. If you’ve ever been curious about the new girl, we’ve got some facts on Julia for you below. Keep reading to learn more about her before the show returns for its fourth season in February.
1) Julia was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and has Jordanian roots. She is a second generation American, and Arabic was her first language, though she adapted to learn English quickly.
2) She attended DePaul University, and she had a goal of becoming a doctor. That is, until she realized her true passion was to start a fashion and lifestyle blog. So, in 2013, she took that leap of faith and began Simply Jules. Since then, she’s gained a following and her blog has become one of the top sites in the Midwest. From there, she has since expanded into doing freelance content, including business marketing. She even completed her Bachelor of Science degree. Wow, is there anything this girl can’t do?
3) She loves to try new places, including restaurants and clubs. Her drink of choice? A glass of wine! When she’s not working or socializing, she enjoys doing yoga, as well as other “self-care” activities.
4) While Julia is quite the fashionista, her style is not tied-down to one type of look. No, Julia is known for going all-out and trying new things, whether that be a fur trim coat, a pretty patterned skirt, or a white lace dress. Whatever the trend, she can rock it! 5) Julia has a nickname that she goes by, even on TV. While people rarely call her Julia, they do often call her Jules. In fact, that’s the name she uses for her Bravo TV bio for Summer House.
