2) A couple other notable roles include Gimme a Break! and Blossom. From 2010-2015, he starred alongside Melissa Joan Hart on the sitcom Melissa & Joey.

3) He starred in an extensive list of movies, including Pulse, Rest Stop, and most recently, the 2021 movie Roe v. Wade as Robert Byrn.

4) He’s been married two times. First, to Michelle Vella, and second to Chandie Yawn-Nelson. The former lasted 3 years, the latter was from 2005-2020. Chandie and Joey have two kids from that marriage.

5) Recently, it was announced that he’s engaged. His girlfriend is actress Samantha Cope. The couple met on the set of their upcoming Lifetime movie, A Deadly Deed.

6. Joey knows how to let loose and have fun. He has some dance moves too! Let’s not forget he did have a music video called “Nothing My Love Can’t Fix” where he showed off his moves back in the day. Well it looks Joey still has it.
